do you really think Greg Davis is the main problem? I'm not sold on that one. I think it begins and ends with Mac regardless the OC.

I always say its a shame a place like UT ruins a great town like Austin. Outside of the week of SXSW or Austin City limits I can't take the place, mostly because of UT. Also I went to the K-State UT game last year and will say the Big XII atmosphere sucks.

Ultimately, you're right. Mack's gotta shoulder the blame. One thing about this that is sorta interesting to me is the dilemma that the AD finds himself in. Set the scene.....(1) program selling a lot of seats and making money hand over fist, (2) Mack has one of the best winning percentages out there (since he's been at UT) winning 9 or 10 games a year, (3) the big cigars like Mack, (4) would probably cost a king's ransom to buy out his contract (I don't remember how many years remain), (5) Mack can't and probably won't beat OU any time soon, and (6) who are you gonna replace him with ?
