I became physically ill after viewing this website: http://www.petecarroll.com/site/intro.htm I mean, honestly, how much more arrogant can a person get? I guess I should put a disclaimer out there that you should view at your own risk. I hate USC. :angryfire
Just reading his list of "accomplishments" in the intro, how the hell did he beat out Saban for coach of the year in 2003? He posted an identical record to his 2002 team.
I just wanna know why such an avid group of USC and Carroll haters are venturing to Petecarroll.com. If you hate the guy so much and it makes you so ill, why even go to the website?
Ok, ok, you got us, scrappy. We all secretly have mancrushes on PC and think that he and his football team are the best things in the world. There. Happy? (Really, what kind of answer do you expect? Or, what are you trying to reveal?)
Not necessarily saying that this applies to any of the above posters, but some people love basking in their own self imposed misery.
I never said you secretly have mancrushes on Pete Carroll. I was just curious to know why, if you hate the guy so much, to you even give him the honor of going to his website? Thats a fair quesiton. Never did I say anything along the lines of your response.:thumb:
I understand where your coming from. Talking about self imposed misery, am I the only one that tries to avoid sportscenter when my team that I root for loses a game? When the chiefs lose on a sunday I try to avoid sportscenter. But, I'll watch the entire chiefs highlight when it comes on anyway and make myself a little bit more miserable. Or, watch old tapes of my old sporting events or whatever that my teams lose in and just get miserable?
A friend sent me the link, so I was intrigued as to what was there. I honestly didn't know that Carroll had his own website. When I first started watching it, I figured it was just another fan site. Then when I saw his own personal introduction to the site, it just made me lose all respect for the man. It's not that I'm basking in my own self-misery, it was just curiosity. That's why I warned people about watching it.
