I have got to side with Mr. Sooner on this one, why should one game determine OK's deserving a shot at the NC. If you go by that, K state lost to the same Texas team that OU beat 65-13, 65! thats an a$$ raping of a 10-2 team. I chalk their lose up to the fact that their team lost focus due to the fact that everyone said they were in the Championship game no matter what, which was of course correct. I think the two best teams are in the game, and the BCS has worked, although I would like to see a four team playoff, with the BCS determining those four teams. OU deserves it, no question, College fottball is more about mental awareness then physical prowess once you get to a certain point. The alabama-OU game is a good example, Bama believed they could compete, and they were fresh being early in the year, so they did. K State believed it could compete and the sooners were not focused.
I am not however saying it wasn't ugly, because OU did look bad in the game, but that doesn't erase their season. It is going to be a great NC game, I can't wait to be there.
