I don't know how you can say that with a straight face when OU gets hacked in their CCG. If you were just saying that OU lossed to a ranked team and USC lost to an unranked team, I might be able to get closer to your point of view, but this was for the confernece title. OU didn't win their conference. They should not be in it. End of story.
PEOPLE PLEASE- Quit bashing the system that does in fact work. Do the AP/Coaches poll use the BCS to help determine who is ranked where? NO! Does the BCS use AP/Coaches poll to determine who is ranked #1 and #2? Yes! Which system has the most probability of being biased? AP/Coaches. Whether or not you will admit it the two top teams that have been ranked in the BCS are the best in the nation on paper or on the field! USC was out either way- the only way they got in was with an LSU loss period!! Deal with it!!

But you are wrong. The BCS got it wrong. We just won't agree on it, so I guess there is nothing to debate. And it's all "intents and purposes" although the BCS should be in intensive care to be sure.

We still have it and have to abide by it. And hell no I will not step aside and say here ya go USC. Go get them tigers. Are you eating dog food? The BCS takes into account a total of 9 polls, among other factors. Seven of the polls are non-subjective, they are data driven and based upon the rules set up by the BCS commission. Generally, these polls are pretty right on when you look at the top 5, except for the New York Times poll. For some reason, OU is now # 5, behind UT at # 4. Forget the fact that UT has 2 losses and OU beat them 65-13. The NYT's poll is never close to the others and should be booted. It's sucked from day one. Quit saying the term "both polls". There are more than 2 polls that are taken into account. If you don't want the others used, go back to the old way of playing bowls with conference tie ins and get rid of the BCS and don't bitch if there's a split MNC. The system is what it is, deal with it. It doesn't mean we have to like it, we just have to abide by it until something better comes along.
