I say Barn wins big (18+) or loses very very close (less than 3)

gonna be a serious smash-mouth game where AU gets the edge running the ball. Tried telling you folks to give Campbell credit making 3 huge plays to beat LSU. 2 in one drive. Time to give the kid credit. Barners thought he sucked more than anyone.

with that said, AU will a low-scoring, tough game. 19-13.

UGA vs. AU 04= LSU vs. AU 03

Well, now....let's see. LSU had an all-world QB before it played Auburn. Then it was Ainge-the-Second-Coming.... that is, until UT played Auburn..... then it was the record-setting "Matt-will-run-you-out-of-the-stadium-Jones" at QB.....hey, you starting to get the picture?

I thought LSU fans would understand better than any other fanbase.... it's the DEFENSE

Well, I respect your enthusiasm for AU. You guys are on a roll but anybody who said LSU has an "all world QB" is stoned. We haven't had a stud QB since Rohan Davey. The characters we have taking the snap this year are a roll of the dice at best....as far as Ainge, he's a true freshman....and Jones is the most undisciplined, sloppy field general I've ever seen. I think the SEC leader in victories and a QB who excels in games on the opponents turf like Greene should at least give you a greater challenge than you've seen so far. Georgia's D doesn't exactly blow either. All in all, I predict a tight game that breaks Jawja's way at the end......could be wrong naturally, but I feel pretty good about this one.....

    Georgia 27
    Auburn 17

You obviously didn't read any of the preseason or pre-game posts on this board re: Jamarcus Russell.

Yes, I did read them. I wouldn't say those posts were very accurate either, would you? It's easy for fans to get overexcited when things are going well or start to panic when things go bad......take LSU's preseason talk this year following a Nat'l Championship, that was obviously too much to expect from a team after losing so many vaulable leaders....and as for an example of panic, remember the Auburn fans after opening season losses to USC and Georgia Tech...? A year later and you guys have a great shot at a Nat'l Championship and we're licking our wounds after some tough road losses. In any case, my point is that it's tough to go through the SEC schedule undefeated.....you have two games left and if you were to lose one of them I'd guess it would be to Georgia. They're a solid team with plenty of senior leadership and they can still salvage their season a little by beating the #3 team in the country. Anyway, if you had to lose one of the last two (which you obvioulsy don't, I just think the odds are against going undefeated) wouldn't you rather lose to Georgia and beat Alabama...... :yelwink2:

Of course they weren't accurate. That was the point of the poster who was saying how all the SEC QBs we've faced have been "all world" before the game and then exposed after facing the AU defense.

To answer your question: Yes, I'd rather lose to a very good UGA team than a half-assed Bama team.
