Turnovers seem to be the one tangent that is keeping games close for the Tiger's opponents. Does anyone know what LSUs turnover margin is for this year and how it compared to this time last year? I really believe without all the turnovers, LSU is at least 6-1 and some of the close games would have been won by comfortable margins.

Correct me if I am wrong but the Tigers have a -7 turnover margin this year. Four of the interceptions in the last two weeks have lead to extremely short fields for the opponents. Cut down on the TO and the Tigers can run the table. :geaux: :champs: :tigerhead

We need to cause some turnovers as well. I don't have the stats in front of me, but I believe in the last two games we caused 0 turnovers. Sure, the O needs to protect the ball as well . . . but the D is just not getting them this year.
