hmmmm. nope. if i follow that philosophy id have a mortgage about 2-3x my yearly wages. the US is in better shape than me. debt is = to 1 GDP. do you know think people should go into serious debt to own a home?
Depends upon how serious the debt is. When I see lots of people in their early 30's living in $400K houses and driving luxury cars and top of the line pickups I know they are not all doctors and lawyers. A lot of them have good jobs in plants but they are going to be way over their head in debt.
