1. Come on guys. There's no way that Troy should have gone for it. You take the points to put you ahead, especially since LSU couldn't move the ball. To risk not getting any points with 4 minutes to go in the game would be inexcusable. Troy hadn't exactly been driving the ball up and down the field during the game and they had to take the points. Almost every coach would make the same decision.
  2. The 46-yard return was the first time X-man was confident and took a return on the run. He was already running to the ball to catch and accelerated quickly past the coverage.
  3. Still just one opinion. I bet Troy would gladly put it back on the five or six yd line now. If they had picked up the first, the game is pretty much over for the Tigers. I simply respect the speed of LSU's special teams enough too much to give them a chance to field a kickoff. If that had been Bama, Fla., Ga., etc, I would have taken the fg. Troy had nothing to lose and everything to gain. :thumb:
