  2. I usually don't like to criticize coaches since I figure they know more about the situation than me. But with this....

    Watching his offense last year was painful. I hate his spread offense. He's too predictable. He would line up in shotgun and run the ball so often on 1st down which usually went for negative yards, putting more pressure on Leak when they got in 3rd and 11 and EVERYONE knows they're passing. Whenever he used the I-formation, which was rare, he would have success running the ball, even though he rarely passed out of it. But still, he refused to give up his spread offense.

    Some ESPN analyst, I think it was Lou Holtz, said that Meyer's offense would start to work in the future after they recruited the right talent at WR. But come on, they had one of the best WR corps in the nation. His passing game put up nice numbers against other conferences and bad SEC teams. But against the best of the SEC, he made Chris Leak (who I think is a very good QB) look terrible.
