1. Agree, Broussard has definitely earned more touches. He ran like the old AB.
I'd like to see more KW too.
  2. Against Tulane Alley DNP Scott had 15 Carries for 101 yards and 2 TD's and Fresno State Scott had 2 Carries for 7 yards and no TD's and Alley had 5 carries for 67 yards and a TD. There goes your Tulane and Fresno State comparisons.
  3. Scott had a concussion in the Florida game, otherwise I'd like to believe he would've played. The Auburn game was not just a big game on the road, but it was the 3rd game of the season. Our freshmen RBs did not know our playbook well enough at that point to be able to pick up the blitzes. Keiland still doesn't, Scott is learning but is still well behind our 3 upper classmen, and Trindon is just too small to block efficiently. So everytime any of those 3 were in the game, Auburn/Florida would know what we were doing.

Miles doesn't make decisions based on what you will get upset about. He makes them on what he believes gives him the best chance to win. Fumble problems are a very big gamble.
  4. Averaging 2.8 yards per carry in big games doesn't get you much further.
  5. Then why recruit him? Bottom line is execution. If we execute the play where he gets the ball, I wouldn't matter if he was 5' 2''.
  6. I like you

Only your 84th post yet you are wise beyond your inexperience on this board
  7. So whose betting Holliday doesn't see the light of day vs. UT?

There goes Vincent off right guard for no gain....geez....don't want to hear that even once.
  8. You are right, I meant to add to the post that he does not have the solid blocking ability yet but will learn to be a good chop blocker hopefully.

I thought they recruited him mainly to be a PR. But if you can use him at wideout and throw some decoy plays he will be very effective in the Tigers offense.
  9. cp, don't let reasoned analysis get in the way of the anti-miles brigade...;)
  10. I'm not in the anti-Miles brigade, but I will voice an opinion on how he coaches and how players perform. That's what forums are for right.
I've never called for Miles head and I will not for the remainder of the season but if we have a 3 loss season next year, then I will begin thinking about it. The talent is here, now it is his job to get us to the SECCG.

I understand why he didn't put in the Scott or Holliday in the AU game. That was the 3rd game of the season and I never said the Miles screwed up for not putting them in. I forgot that Scott had the concussion for the UF game. I think Trindon could've been used for a few plays like a screen or reverse. But I do fault the offensive scheme and play calling in the 2nd half, I don't know if there has been a big game where this staff has made adjustments for the 2nd half, when it is obvious something different needs to be tried.
