1. Does anyone have a transcript of the PC... I can't find anywhere that he mentioned booing.... Can anyone help me out?

Edit: Reason is because I honestly won't believe it until I read it, or hear it...
  2. don't have a transcript, but he did mention it. It was when he was saying turning a team around involves an entire change for an organization. He used the example of LSU fans booing when he first got there and this hurt our team and helped the other team. I really don't think he meant it as a shot to LSU fans but he could have chosen a better example...like LSU fans chanting LSU after a UGA touchdown and how this helped the team. Bottom line Nick doesn't really care what we think.
  3. Thank you...
  4. I felt like that was a bit of a subdued cheap shot against the fans for some early booing this year. Absolutely no need to even bring that up, much less mention LSU fans by name...and at least if you are going to do it, bring up the fact we cheered after UGA's TD or similar positives.

Yep, to me it was a cheap shot much like he took at MSU when he left there. It takes a real egomaniac to 'not let it go' at a time when he's moving on to bigger and (maybe) better things - and leaving a university behind in a holding pattern - only to bring up a negative in his press conference (in my view) intentionally.

It's like breaking up with a girl who once cheated on you, but since had been in a bad accident that scarred her face. Instead of just breaking up and moving on in a compassionate way, you tell her it's because she's now a hideous wretch and you doubt anyone's man will cheat with her now.

    Nick Saban's comments??
  5. But at least she cheated with another chic so it wouldn't be too tough on the psyche.
  6. typo :|
  7. Or wishful thinking.

I'm just messing with ya'. Gotta find something to laugh at right now.
