  6. Stanford, Cal, San Jose State. Never heard anything like what we have going on with this.

You seem to really want this at your sporting events as much as you want to justify it so good luck with all that.
  7. I say it has regressed. Progress is toward a positive direction.

  10. You're right. That wasn't a classy comment, but a provoked response. I probably could have chosen a better word, but sometimes testosterone gets the best of you, or said otherwise, you man up when attacked. That is different than what was the original topic of what I was referring to as being classy. By the way, my original comment was not just meant toward one poster, but the first five responses of this thread.

Agree w/the comments that the crowd responses have regressed, not just LSUs. Of course, that mirrors the decline of the overall education of our society, and respect we have for each other. When the Fla. St. crowds began doing the chop, and the Gator fans began doing the chomp, you knew those degrading/disrespectful chants that began as fun were going to lead to more aggressive and vulgar chants by others. It's one thing to have some fun w/it and do it a few times, but when it becomes "tradition", it definitely becomes derogatory, distasteful, and disrespectful, which is not the light I want our university to appear personally.
