Sorry if this info has already been posted, I've been away for a while. But I saw on NFL.com that Lionel Turner decided to retire from football and left the Dolphins after only two days of training camp. Also looks like Randall impressed the Titans coaches with his athletic ability, he has been permanently placed in the defensive backfield and will be given a shot to compete for a roster spot there.
Marcus Spears still hasn't signed with Dallas--nor has the Cowboys other first rounder, Demarcus Ware. Parcells was on sports radio in Dallas today, and he was highly annoyed at the process concerning both of his first round picks. He wants them in camp--I'm assuming since he wants both to play a big part in the '05 team.
Good thing, too. Parcells can be a real "prick"--and from past happenings, looks as though he can hold grudges. Would have been a shame if Spears got off on the wrong foot. You know, it's bad enough to be a rookie--hazing, etc., but having a coach that gives the impression that as a rookie, you're nothing (which is somewhat true) and unproven AND agrivate him because you're holding out??? ...nope...wouldn't be good....
Not bad for a poor old boy from Louisiana who never made over 20k in a year. This guy contributed so much to this team and to the state. I don't care if he is filthy rich now, if I see him out, his meal and drinks are on me.
Not a rookie anymore, but here is an article on Josh ReedJosh Reed Article Also It looks like the Dolphins claimed Donnie Jones off waivers.
