1. Would you be in favor of LSU playing on a Thursday night once a year?
  2. no way in hell....

it would kill tailgating and the atmosphere of the stadium
  3. Espn recetnly renegotiated their contract with the SEC and will get 3 Thursday night games/year. You will never see one in TS. Teams like Moo U., USC, Ole Miss, Vandy, Kentucky & maybe Arkansas will oblige them.

  4. I wish I could say NO with enough descriptors. :po: :cuss:  :angryfire
  5. YES!

we should have played troy on a thursday night.

the atmosphere was NOT there on Saturday night. So you cannot make atmosphere one of the reason.

Some BCS programs only gets to tailgate 6 times a year.

guess what, even if we play on thursday night, we get 6 tailgates a year, so you cannot use not enough tailgating as a reason.

boo ya, i have destroyed ya'lls reasoning
  6. The mere thought of a Thursday nigth LSU game makes me SICK.

It is bad enough to have the Ark. game on the Friday afternoon after Thanksgiving.
  7. It seems like attendance would be way down. If it were a game against a measly team, like Mississippi St or something - people wouldn't come in out of town to go to that. Especially not when they would have to take off work just to do it. LSU loves making money - and thursday night games don't sound like it.
  8. No way would I be in favor of playing on Thursday nights. It gives the team a very very short week to prepare kills tailgating and would be very hard for those that work on friday or come from out of town to watch the games. Thursday night games are good for TV ratings and nothing else.
  9. Wednesday, Thursday, Friday night games are great for football junkies and for programs that need the exposure. The Tigers don't need the pub that bad. :nope:
  10. Thursday night? What about all of the people going to see middle school football games? :hihi:
