1. I just watched it again last night on DVR - if I knew how to UTube it I would. It was a good, clean, brutal hit. And I think Steltz was a tiny bit stunned by it as well - he bounced backwards pretty sharply. But he'd never admit it - nor should he.

Also, Steltz delivered the hit that caused the fumble later in the game - another perfectly timed whallop.

Seriously - has there ever been a Tiger defense with this much talent and depth? Not just lately....ever?

At this point, this is about more than stats - these guys are just plain having fun at other teams' expense...

I'm convinced the only reason SC scored in the 4th qtr is because the offense just couldn't stay on the field and Spurrier had too much time to make something happen. Would love to see the possession stats for the 4th qtr - I'm gonna search for that tonight....

What was this thread about? Oh, yeah --- Steltz is an animal...
  2. The hittin' part of Steltz sorta reminds me of Steve Rehage. Of course Rehage always seemed to give himself a concussion. :hihi:
  3. Rehage was an animal, he was the first LSU player I could call by name. My older brother would always talk about how Rehage could hit.
  4. I wonder if Rehage is still around. I have never seen a player take such pleasure in abusing his own body. He would come off the field wobbly looking with a big smile on his face.
  5. He sure was fun to watch.
  6. Nice! Thats the kind of hit that will make a receiver gun-shy forever.:geauxtige
  7.
    He got smoked!!

    Both him and his QB.
  8. goosebumps... love the fact that the Dorsey Stomp is at the end of the clip
  9. Great hit.

But im a little let down that there hasnt been more talk of Darry Beckwith's sack. I LOVED IT
