i live in bama..if you were ablind man living in this state you would think saban is the second coming of christ...seriously if you read the papers, watch sports tv in this state..they say mcknight to bama...even barksdale,davis jones, dworacyk...even jarret lee arent shoe in to lsu...because of saban ties to la & fla:angryfire

$1 more or $1 less? Bear Bryant structured his contract so that he never made more than the University President, he made $1 less. Saban on the other hand structured his contract to make $1 more than the highest paid coach in the NCAA ... Bama should think again about this being the second coming. I think Bear would have loved Saban's coaching style and attitude, but I think he would have despised him as a person and professional. Bear valued loyality and Saban doesn't have an ounce of loyality in him.
