The player that gives LSU the best opportunity to win.

I'd bet the house that Russell will be our starter.

Speaking of house, is it true that when JR sits around the house these days, he really sits AROUND the house?

We'll see soon enough if JR is still tippin'...not on four-fours, mind you, but 260 on the scales.

You would think Russell, but he has to be mature, know the plays, be in shape, and be prepared to LEAD the team. I'm thinking he will step up, realize the opportunity he has and get the job done. He is in a position like Mauck was in 2003, he doesn't have to win a game on his own. He needs to hold onto the ball, limit fumbles and ints, play smart, throw it away if nothing is there rather than force a mistake, hand it off to the RB's, and hit his receivers when they are open, and count on the D to do their job. He's in an ideal situation, if he'll realize it and play accordingly. I bet Jimbo is saying the same stuff.

I remember when people said that rohan was too big... I like the big qb... not afraid to sit in the pocket and deliver the ball. I'm a big flynn guy, I want him to get his chance, but maybe he'd be too quick to leave the pocket?

who didnt love the way rohan sat in the pocket til the last possible second, or escaped defensive ends that had him all but down on his knees. what about marcus randall running over defensive backs in the open field.

I admit it. I like big quarterbacks. as long as he's not soft I think it'll be alright. I mean... solid 260 running 4.8's sounds better to me than 230 running 4.8's.

It will be a Georgia-like system...

Russell will start, but Perrilloux will get 15-20 snaps a game like Shockley did
