Well guys I just got word that Les Miles has named J. Hester starting halfback for the spring. What do yall think?

Not much to think about.....our top 2 returning halfbacks from the 2005 depth chart are sidelined, rehabbing injuries. Not wanting to make it sound less important, but Hester is pretty much our #1 halfback by default at this point because, truth-be-told, he's the only running back with playing experience from last season.

I guess I'm not suprised. He's the only one with any experience. Although I'm hopefull that RJ Jackson will impress this Spring.

Thats true BostonBengal. I hope that he does well and doesnt get hurt. Who will be back there if he does get hurt?

Before the Miami game it seemed like you only saw Hester with a pass just barely out of reach. The bowl game was definitely a breakout game for him.

I agree with you on that. He did a great job when he had to.

Currently, for Spring practice, I would imagine RJ Jackson and Antonio Robinson will be 2nd and 3rd behind Hester.

Korte and Jordan will more than likely be the fullbacks.
