    I try to post live performance videos of my favorite songs,.. but in the case of Patti Smith I'm not gonna, cuz I can't stand looking at her,.. this song rocks.

    I find the opening to this song offensive, getting past that, I think this is the best version of, "Gloria"

    @Rex Interesting vid, but I'd like to know who was "ranking" America's hits before Billboard came along.

    Lots of bluegrass early, not sure if that is what they called it then

    Stephen Stinking Foster was quite a dude,

    Didn't realize how old Chopsticks was (140 years)

    Interesting pictures for some of the songs. Probably the most notable being "carve that possum" in 1874 with 4 klansmen as the image. I think they were playing "somewhere over the rainbow" on top of Hitler as well.


    No mention of Motown anywhere
