1. Damn, I thought I was the only one in the world who was never a big Pink Floyd fan.
  2. I'm a huge Gilmore fan, not so big on Waters

  3. They're both good songs but those rankings are as bogus as 75% of Alabama's national championships.
BOTW isn't even close to being Paul Simon's best and everybody should know that California Girls is the best Beach Boys song.
  4. Since we are talking about the beach boys

Yeah couple of Canucks eh but I like em
  5. If anybody said that Johnny B Goode was the greatest song it would be hard to disagree. Chuck Berry WAS rock 'n roll.

  6. ditto, they can be great together though
  7. No, you really don't. Obviously, you weren't there. The 60's was the paradigm shift and apex, all in one, of music as social and artistic force.
  8. In the 60's and 70's Rolling Stone was a good magazine that reflected the cultural changes of the period. Now it's just another piece of crap hardly worthy of wiping your ass

  9. Wait... are you thinking that Dylan was singing about the magazine? LOL
  10. No I wasn't there but that doesn't mean I can't connect. My musical interest are all over the place due to the things coming out of the speakers when I was a child.

While "Like a Rolling Stone" is a good song, not great imo the whole thing is uber subjective. Hell I could fill one of these list out 4 times a week and they would all look different. I don't see how that song could ever at any point past 1975 be considered the greatest song of all time. If you look at my thread RS redid the list a few years later and they changed it and had an even worse song as the greatest of all time so like I said, no credibility.
