oh its certainly more relevant with each passing day. also, anyone who does not already like tool isnt about to become a fan. theyre pretty extreme for the masses.
The thing is, I loved them when they first hit the scene and then loved them more due to Beavis and Butt-Head bit the more you listen and the deeper you get into the songs you discover the dichotomy in most of the lyrics and its just fascinating. When you combine the lyrics with the complexity and awkward subtitles of the music it's just amazing. I become more of a fan every time I hear them.
i know with this song they couldnt show the title so they just displayed Track 1. jus the word stinkfist was hard language back then. now its probably in minions.
That's the thing, there really is none. It's so open ended you can make any of them whatever the hell you want.
Two guys discussing fisting using words like metaphorically and dichotomy like the were writing an English paper cries out for a joke but I'll be damned if I can think of one.
Because you haven't listened to the song or read the lyrics, it's lightyears ahead of Merle Haggard (whom I dearly love) but this may be a little too advanced for you. Hell @Don Castavez is still trying to figure out what dichotomy means
