    He just wanted to play guitar waiting on Axl all those years. That's why he played with so many different people as he was always improving. He still wears a pacemaker. I really admire his playing.

    I really need to read his book.

    And yes, when you get to that level, note for note or accuracy is sort of a wash from this guy to the next. What separates them is style. This guy has it for sure.

    He must have tuned it down to make the strings looser and more flexible.

    Idk it doesn't sound like it. Definitely not the gloomy half step that all grunge is played in because the top strings ring. It doesn't sound like a drop D either.

    First time I've seen Clapton playing a Les Paul instead of a strat.
