Yep, JR's our new secret weapon alright. He's made at least 5 of the best passes I've ever seen today.
My only question is, after this lackluster performance from JMarc will Les finally get off his can and start Flynn? I mean seriously, TWO incomplete passes, 3 TD's and over 300 yards. . .Bring Flynn in now PLEASE. I'm tired of all those JMarc supporters geez.
Well, there still remains a large number of LSU fans that wish Flynn were the starter now. Oddly enough, those are pretty much the same people that want RP playing more. Well, just like RP's performance last week in which his pass attempts (contested and otherwise) were off target, Flynn's first pass today, which resulted in an INT return for a TD, makes me more hopeful that JR will pull a Kevin Faulk and remain for his Sr. year. But if JR has more performances like he had today, I can't see any reason why he wouldn't turn pro. Hell, if you're putting up these kinds of numbers, and is something like 18-3 as a starter, yet 30-40% of your fan base want your backup to start, I don't understand how, on God's green Earth, you would want to stay???
Congrats to JR on his performance today. It was a a joy to watch and I hope to see more of that kind of play the rest of the season. Kudos to the recievers who were all 5 star today. On to Fla.:champs: LSU! :geauxtige
