Never was good at "Wheel of Fortune" so I won't even try to figure out what ****er is.

I left out the part about blasting Osama as we are not in disagreement there. I cede the point, blast Osama!!!! You said it first, I will even load your rifle.

I do and will help others even though they may hold positions not congruent with my own. If needed, I would even accept their aid. I have a caveat. They must be people of honor.

What you are saying is that the end justifies the means. That you would even joke about Osama leads me to believe that you hold this as a truism. History is replete of examples upon which we can look back on and see that this is a very flawed position

A truism that I like much better, and one I have posted in my son's room, is:

There is no victory without honor.

A man was taking in the view on a mountainside when someone said, "excuse me". Seeing no one, he finally looked down and saw a rattlesnake. The snake asked the man, "Could you please take me down the mountain when you go so I won't hurt my belly on the rocks? You can just put me in your jacket and I'll hop out when we get down." The man replied, "No way! I was bitten by a snake several years ago and it was very painful." The snake said, "I promise to be good and not bite you!" The man agreed to take the snake down the mountain so he put the snake in his jacket and off they went. The way down was pleasurable, the temperature was just right and the conversation lively.
Upon reaching the bottom, the man reached in his jacket to help the snake out. As the man placed the snake on the ground, the snake bit him. The man asked the snake,"Why did you bite me? I did everything you asked me to!" the snake replied, "You knew I was a snake when you picked me up." and off he slithered away. :laflagwav

AMEN. If Jesse Jackson (I'm not a fan) gets help to those people in New Orleans, I don't care how many catch phrases, rhymes, soliliques and metaphors he uses...or how many cameras are present. If it gets help, let him rant!!

    PLEASE forgive the spelling.

i hate to spread hearsay, but i heard from a staff member of a local news station that jackson and cleo fields went down to the dome got some photos taken and left on buses shortly after taking no one with them except the photographers, camera men and reporters that came with them. if this is true, the man is truly a waste of space. :angryfire
