to my credit, the ESPN was all over the Saints nuts all season last season... there in no anti-louisiana bias, folks... sorry... but yeah, obviously no one is right or wrong here... my defense has a ring, though.
i loved the saints D back then, i had a dome patrol poster on my wall. but clair has a point about the ring. also while the saints front 7 was a sliver better, the ravens secondary was far better imo than the saints. the corners were weak and while maxie and sutton were decent safeties, teams could get yards against th e saints thru the air.
That, I can agree with. What made the Dome Patrol so good was the pressure they were able to get on the QB (led the league in sacks for 4 straight years, I think); which made the secondary seem better than they actually were.
Ok, so I had a common typo. This is about the 3rd or 4th time I've seen you post this. I didn't realize you were so anal over spelling. Or is it just the spelling of d-e-f-i-n-i-t-e-l-y that makes you anal?
i was hoping you would be happy that i helped you with spelling. i dont understand why it is such a common typo, "a" is really far from "i" on the keyboard. that is weird.
I see it another way. I think it's weird that you feel the need to point it at or that you even care. I guess I'm flattered though, in a way.
good. i point it out because of couple things. i generally like spelling, and i am interested in words that are so commonly spelled incorrectly. another word that gets massacred is ridiculous. it is rediculous maybe 40% of the time. and separate is seperate. that one used to trouble me when i was a kid. also i like to correct message board people to see how they react. i do not claim that isnt annoying.
I'm not annoyed. I'm just as intrigued by people who correct these mistakes are you are by those who commit them.
