joe says he is opening up our oil reserves. @Rex wont burning this fossil fuel destroy the earth? why not let oil prices rise so the market finds solutions and alternatives to oil? the future of humankind is at stake, or so i have been told. also if we are gonna open up our reserves, why not just produce more? you praised biden before for encouraging opec et al to produce more. again doesnt this just destroy the planet? wouldnt it be smarter to produce the oil/gas here, where we have higher environmental srtandards?
The shear idiocy of Biden’s energy policy has been seen this past few weeks. On the day the Russians invaded Ukraine he stopped bidding on oil leases. Now he’s soliciting our adversaries Iran and Venezuela to pump more oil rather than allowing the shale oil to drill and produce. We could make up what was purchased from Russia much more quickly that way. On top of that the red headed propagandist talks about “green “ power as the solution. Even if it was possible to generate enough green power to meet our needs and I’m not sure it’s possible, it would take 10 times as long. Finally she raises the straw man (thanks Martin) of the 9MM undeveloped acres now under lease as if it were a spigot to be turned on. Frankly it’s not defensible.
