We had a great time tailgating on campus. Alabama fans were first class and I will always make the trip there now when LSU plays them.

LSUFan71 hosted our tailgate and had lsubatgirl, TejasTiger, and myself, along with our friends/family. It was great to meet all of them!

THANK YOU Lsufan71! The gumbo was fantastic and the jambalaya hit the spot! We came back to the tailgate after the game and listened to his dad tell Boudreaux and Pierre jokes for a couple of hours. :hihi:

By far the best time I have had on a road trip!

I read your post/thread. Once you guys arrived at GameDay, it was definitely different. I recorded Gameday and will watch it later. Can't wait to see how it sounds on tv.

We got on campus at around 7:15 and the Bama students were already out there in full force. It was funny, I think they were worried about the bus trip/LSU students taking over. :geauxtige :tigerhead

I was on campus as well when the students showed up. It changed the whole thing.

I too was very impressed w/Loosa. I was treated well.

We were at the Game Day set after the game. We had a lot of fun w/the Tiger Pimp Nation. Check them out at Tigerpimpnation.com. They had converted a couple of Alabama girls and we had a good time giving them a hard time about changing sides.

The fly over before the game was very cool.

The best part of the whole trip was how quiet the campus was after the game. I did not hear one ROLL TIDE.

All in all, a great trip.

    Yes indeed!

I love going to air shows and that was a treat! I've never seen such a flyover though. They were VERY low and VERY close to the top of the stadium. The whole place rumbled and shook. What a fantastic way to set the tone before kickoff!

    One other thing,

As everyone bashes or loves Miles on other threads, I have to give him credit for this. After the game day crew invterviewed him after the game, he came down and shook everyone's hand that was there. He thanked us for coming to Loosa to support the team.

    Very cool.
