Actually, no it isn't. You asked....

I was just pointing out that you are not required to have experienced something personally in order to have an informed opinion on the subject.

 

Do you think that someone who has never drank can tell you what it's like to be drunk?

Is an informed opinion is better than first hand knowledge and experience?

BTW I respect your opinion, I just don't agree with it.

I might even feel the same way had I not experienced everything I have.
