I've never been on so many highs and lows at a game in my life. In the fourth quarter it seemed like every other play both sets of fans were going nuts. I had a good trip, albeit a crappy result for my team. That was a better game than last season. There were mistakes on both sides but it was a very well played game. Congrats on the win, and I will forever have the image of that left upright burned in my head.
Thanks Hansel, I'm glad you had a good trip. I know you saw a great game. Tough defenses on both sides, teams are really a lot alike, young QB's, good Olines and receivers, Irons and Addai both run with speed and power (Irons clearly had the better night, really impresed with him). I enjoyed watching the game on TV. Lot of ups and downs. I am as happy with this years result as you guys are unhappy. Reverse of last year. Go ahead and win out, we got the tie breaker! I hope we both beat Bama!
We seem to have kicking problems in TS from time to time but somehow it rubbed happened at AU last year also? Anyway, I wonder if the kicking woes of late, the last few years has anything to do with the stadium expansion, maybe changing the winds at the one goal post? Crazy game indeed!
It's vodoo I tell ya. When the Tiger fan had the spell cast he forgot to be specific about just our oppenets kickers being under it. I've never seen a stretch like we've witnessed since 2003 like this before.
That was a great game. I just hope we have a great medical staff on hand at the stadiums because at this rate we a going to have some serious heart attacks before the season over. Last night's game sure was giving me flashbacks of the Oregon St. game last year with all those missed kicks.
.......with the big exception that the weather was nice and dry and both teams playing at a higher level. The wind was definitely affecting the kicking. ________ Nude Girls
