The last time we were in Baton Rouge (earlier this month), we were at an the 50th anniversary party for my uncle's sister-in-law and her husband, who is Tony's brother. Tony's Seafood provided the food, and my Texan husband thought he'd died and gone to heaven! My four-year-old daughter was even running around eating fried catfish. It was a great Louisiana party; they just don't throw them that way in Texas. It made me rather homesick.
great beer, even though warsteiner is a bit bitter for my tastes. Fransikaner dunkle weisse is a great one though... hmm maybe ill have one today...
I agree, from the hinterlands, thanks to the Louisiana Tiger Fans for keeping us posted on whats going on! I was kinda dislocated here in Houston for a while. Tiger Rag is ok, but it just did not really do it for me (course the 90's didn't help any). It means a lot more to hear a report from someone who went to a practice, or a fan club meeting that the head coach spoke to. Those personal reports are GREAT. I'm glad I found this place! Rich
There is a louisana style establishment on Tenn St. Owned by two guys from Baton Rouge. Very popular place during crawfish season. The crawfish is very fresh since they make pick them up and drive them to Talla.
yeah, it used to be the strongest beer brewed in the states... the stuff's nasty but it's like drinking a glass of grain alcohol.. the stuff messes you up
Yes indeed. Matter of fact--My grandaughter told me about two weeks ago------"papaw--I'm ready for some boudin balls." I WILL see that she gets them.....Why I go to that much trouble for a tiger fan__I don't know.
Dutchtown Tiger, What is the name of the place on Tennessee St.? I will head there during crawfish season, thanks in advance!!!!!
