Our refusal to run the ball anywhere but over the middle is hurting us more. But I agree Ford should be playing more. He tends to be more of an end runner.
Exactly! I just don't get it!! What's wrong with mixing Ford in the running game?? He only had one carry today and it would end up with a big gain if it was not for the penalty.
Unfortunately JJ is one-dimensional and when we need a lot of yards he'll be replaced. If he doesn't like it he should get more yards on the first two downs. :thumb: He's being treated just like JL did the past two years.
good drive. killed some time and defense is well rested. they wont be able to run it down our throughts i dont think. so lets shut em down.
That's exactly it. Ford usually stretches the field and keeps opposing defenses off balance. This last drive really shows our success rushing when we can stretch the field. I'm just glad we woke up.
