I think Tebow was justified in making the phone gesture to the students. Funny even. I mean, a bunch of LSU fans are calling him all night and sending him countless number of text messages (I'd love to see his bill this month!), he scores right in front of the likely perpetrators and he's not supposed to do anything? Lighten up...
I'm glad he responded to it and got a laugh out of it as well, but I'd be suprised if even a quarter of the students knew what it was about. Its not like everyone was going to stand around, after a guy that most people dislike taunts the student body, and calmly discuss whether or not he was "justified". It was an immediate and visceral reaction in an intense football game. By both parties.
College is populated by people who act like 8-year-olds with an appetite for booze, sex and stupidity. I wouldn't want it any other way. I miss it.
Typical game. Tebow had been hyped and set up by the press. We like him in FL and love the fact that everyone hates and texts him...Means he is really doing a good job. He couldnt carry the whole team Sat but he didnt get knocked out of the game as was advertised. He'll be ok. Good game. You guys are No. 1 and deserve it!
Tebow got what he deserves. Can't blame the students for their chant. Florida is a very good team and i am praying they lose another to keep them out of the championship game. I nearly had a stroke watching this one.:geauxtige
