Ok, I'm in Tiger Band obviously... However, I ordered tickets because there is always a chance that I may not make the band. I bought 7 tickets for $7 each and a $7 service fee... I went and picked them up with no problem. I just got an email saying that my tickets are invalid and are just trash now. My credit card was credited $49... I am pissed. Because I want to support the school in any way possible, be that in the band or as a fan. I had to waste 7 bucks. I am completely fine with them invalidating my tickets. But there is no excuse for them to charge me $7 in the process. Am I completely wrong in being extremely furious? :angryfire
They really cracking down on students selling their tickets to people who aren't students for some reason, so that may be why since they figure you're at the game anyway in the band. I read in the Revelie that they're changing the check points and stuff as you walk into the stadium and the student tickets must match the student's ID.
Yeah I agree. The reason they are doing this is because of the freshmen bitching that they didnt get student tickets last year. I just transferred and was looking forward to getting some student tickets from my friends, but they are just making it a whole lot of trouble. I know alot of the diehard fans in the student section are not students....
for real. i got into every game i wanted to see as a freshman last year. It sucked having them sell out but it sucks even more this year because it is so rigid.
If you look hard enough....you will find a ticket and if you are cheap enough, you will find one for face value. I just graduated last semester so I couldn't order but I took off of work for the games even though I don't have tickets. I think that sitting anywhere but the student section will not be as much fun....i WILL get tickets, i guarantee it and I WILL sit in the student section...there is no other option....
Damn right. I'm in the same situation. And I'll be damned if I'm not sitting in that student section.
