Please please be minor. Last thing we need is this along with Miles.

Obviously this is bad no matter how you cut it. That goes without saying and is why I didn't say it. But wouldn't you agree that it would be much better for an assistant strength coach to have done this on his own than for 3 or 4 coaches, some of which could be higher up, to all be in on this together. That was my only point. As far as sanctions, I think they are much lighter if just one guy is involved. As always, full disclosure with NCAA is the only way to go. I agree completely.

Very true. Plus we don't know any details, yet.

Simply talking may not be an NCAA violation (though it does violate a Law in Louisiana). Receiving benefits or signing on the line definitely violates an NCAA rule.

The Louisiana law is designed to help universities prevent predatory agents from tempting their players. It just may have worked. Keep those fingers crossed.

OMG...this is sickening. Whats really concerning me is if in fact the guy thinks he could have swayed some players to said agent then he has probably already planted the seed with these players. Someone is going to have to come clean, players included if needed. This needs to get fast tracked to the front of all issues in the atheltic department.

Tommy Moffitt seems like a good guy so i'm hoping he doesn't have anything to do with this. If he doesn't then I would guess this is an isolated incident and hopefully it was uncovered before any players got involved. Or maybe i'm just trying to make myself feel better so I can stomach my lunch.

What do you guys think the ramifications may be? Is it possible that our football team may turn into the mid-90's LSU basketball teams, stripped of scholarships? Who is responsible for hiring this guy, Skip or Miles, and does it matter?

So many questions... I'm starting to get down... :nope:

    Please let this be nothing!!!!
