...any thoughts on the possibility of snatching Steve Spurrier from USC? We neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed to have a coach that can take advantage of our deep talent pool and can Miles' ass, soon. We almost lost to ASU and gave the game to UT away because is sh!tty coaching.
Miles is here for two years at least, get over it. Unless he has an under .500 year, it's not an option. Support him and hope for the best, he didn't just learn football...things will work themselves out.
I would welcome Spurrier more than anyone, but the fact is that Miles isn't gonna lose his job over just one loss. He's here for at least the remainder of this year. I don't see Spurrier abandoning South Carolina. I think he wants to build a winner there and is committed to that. Let's just support Miles and if he can't get the job done, then naturally his stay here won't be for long.
Guess you forgot Skip is our AD... look at the state of LSU basketball and ask yourself how long Miles gets.
IMO, that's a totally different case. LSU basketball doesn't hold a candle to the football program, especially over the last few years. It's football first and having won 2 SEC titles and a national title also sets the program at higher standards. I don't see much of a grace period, but I could be totally wrong too.
