I saw Springsteen in a little cafe in Bryan Mar, PA, back in the summer of 1974. Way before he was anyone. I was chasing sorority girls. Successfully.

Also, Courtney Cox, the girl he pulls out of the crowd in Dancing in the Dark video, is a cousin of some sort!

I think you just showed that you are not a sitcom watcher post 80's I'm gonna guess.

Its a sad case really. It all stems from his Dad not allowing him to watch Mr. Ed as a youth

I was talking to a guy I knew about not getting springsteen just the other day. he agreed. I do like that tenth avenue freeze out whatever the fuck it means i dunno.

i saw joe cocker a few years back and he was awesome.

worst faces ever is jonny lang. saw him a couple times and had a hard time looking at him at some points.

I never got Springsteen--was anything ever more annoying than "Born in the USA"?

Oh, wait...yes--the entire catalog of U2. Talk about a band for the sheeple.

I have to throw the Police in to that mix. I liked a few songs from Synchronicity but overall.....yawn.

With @StaceyO liking your post, it galvanizes my observation that women don't like The Police.

I have come to like Sting on his own but yeah, The Police....like the name alone is anti- anti-establishment, so boo on them.

Every time I hear Roxanne I think of Eddie Murphy in jail singing it very badly in 48 Hours

thats a good point. plus ive always read how arrogant the dude is almost like he thinks he invented the idea of music. hes annoying and lackluster. kinda like bruce.

i think new years day is the only song i like by u2.

although I love jay mohrs impression of bono discussing how hes saving the rainforest.
