We aren't gonna get another coach unless Miles leaves... He won't, i just threw out Mike Stoops b/c i think he was the coach we shoulda gone after.
No way the Sparty fire John L. Smith, that guy is a great coach, he just needs some good asst., he's one of the best motlvators ln the game
if Saban was leaving a year earlier then maybe...but woulda, coulda, shoulda at this point. Miles won 10 games his fist season. first to beat Bama, Auburn, and Florida in the same year. not bad...even with all the doom and gloom prognosticators taking residence on this board talking about the future. only time will tell, until then, enjoy the ride.
So we couldn't have offered him after his first year at Zona?... he woulda jumped. As for enjoying the ride... i think thats what happened in the days of old. Sitting back and not looking for change when we saw the first cracks in the foundation... is what brought about the 90s. l didn't have the pleasure of enduring it, and i sure as hell don't want to now.
