1. more than that. what about e-commerce sites that host small internet businesses. hundreds of thousands of small businesses. if one of those small internet businesses is selling what is found to be pirated goods, the host company can be found liable and shut down. all of those other small businesses that use the host are collateral damage. that makes this bad from an economic standpoint as well.

this bill is a cluster**** waiting to happen if it passes.
  2. just how stupid are the idiots who wrote/sponsor this legislation?

  3. Yup. This has nothing to do with Repubs or Democrats.....it's a sh*t sandwich no matter what way you slice it. Everyone should be opposed to such a piece of sh*t legislation. EVERYONE.

If it passes, it is the beginning of the f'in New World Order.

  4. im impressed with google, mozilla, wikipedia etc's concerted effort to fight this.

and one of the few times ill participate in such petitions and emailing representatives.

this stuff is garbage and only a matter of time before the government tried to get their paws in.

gotta cut this one off at the pass. once they get their foot in the door theres no going back.

  5. Boehner says the bill doesn't have nearly enough support to get to the floor for a vote.
  6. and if not, there is too much money behind it buying people off, so it will just be "reworked" and brought back.

need to send a message by booting the author of it.
  7. right but this is how they start and clearly shows their intent. it always begins as nothing but the money keeps changing hands and it keeps being re-introduced as something for your family's protection.

then gets passed at 2am as they sell you out even though no one ****ing wants it.

thats how our new democracy works.
