I guess we wont be meeting under the oak trees this time.:dis: Sucks for our girls but maybe it will spark a fire in their eyes.
Time for Skip to make some phone calls and explain it to the selection committee. The west coast flavor is flagrant. They completely dissed the SEC (although a number of our teams did make it in). Tennessee has only lost 5 games this year (2 to LSU). The number one seed has lost 12 and tied one. :angryfire
Nahh, Deek doesn't ruffle my feathers- just curious as to whether it's the parking or sumpin. :hihi: "Tiger Park" sure wasn't an issue in the past: We're setting attendance records with such an inadequate facility. For the Tennessee game this year, the crowd attendance beat the previous LSU record by more than 800- 2,326 tickets sold- that’s as much of a margin as their stadium holds. Tiger park seats 1000, Boyd & Jill Smith Stadium........820. http://www.lsusports.net/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=5200&KEY=&ATCLID=177202 http://gostanford.cstv.com/facilities/stan-jill-boyd-smith.html This is the issue. :thumb: How's that for a "Pooper scooper"? :hihi:
I don't think it can be explained any other way than the SEC got it from the rear by the NCAA. Why? I can think of no other reason than the fear of having an all SEC World Series. I understand what some are saying about the facilities at LSU being sub-par, per chance, and that might have some bearing on not hosting. However, considering how the facilities are in T-town, I don't think that has any bearing.
