    152 of these:

    and 2 nice snapping turtles. One was 8 lbs and the other was 11. Though these can get to 30 + lbs, you just don't see it around here. Coonasses lock the brakes and pick 'em up way before they reach that wt.

    We call them red-necks. Many call them "red-eared" and "sliders". Well, I hear people say "sliders" when talking about turtlles but not sure if it's those they're referencing or not.

    I went back today and set 4 nets in the pond we'd caught the 152 and 2 snappers. I'm trying a different bait in a couple of traps. Something easier to come by and cheap so I doubt it'll work- would be too easy.

    I kept the 15 biggest cause some people have been asking for some. The others were dispatched one-by-one.
