I am sick and tired of everyone talking about Bo and our defense and ragging them. Come on guys, this was our first game of the season for 2 coaches. Les and Bo. Of course things are going to go wrong, of course the defense was going to play "soft". Before you go off and run your mouth about "getting rid of Bo", give the guy a chance. A W is a W. We are 1-0. Not only that, 1-0 against a damn good team ranked in the top 25. Will we have to get better to beat Tenn? Yes absolutely. But stop giving Bo and the defense a hard time, lets see what they do with a game under belt.

I'm not saying run the guy out of town, but that defense was horrible. The ones who make me laugh are those who say that he was just "holding back" b/c he didnt wanna show everything in the first game. If it was UNT I understand, but does anyone really think that during a game in which LSU was losing for most of it, that the coach was holding back? I dont .

Ditto. I never insinuated that we should fire him. He's been able to put together some strong defenses in the past. I doubt he just forgot how it's done. And I'm anxious to see what he will bring to the table. Since all of us know that changes need to be made, certainly he knows it just as well. I just hope that he's not stubborn enough to believe that it's just a matter of execution on the players' part. :geauxtige

only a couple of people wanted to run him out of town. Chalk it up to frustration I doubt they meant it.

I am sick and tired of people saying what an LSU tiger fan can say or not say on a forum. It's an opinion get over it.

Our boys did well, the defense sucked, it's not the end of the world. A coach, highly paid coach I might add, knows this. he'd have to be blind not to. I think it's GOOD that it happened AND we won! it showed him/us, where they need to improve ...because, we prolly won't see a pass offense that good again this year, UNLESS we play someone like USC in the Big BCS bowl.

So even this bad thing may turn into a good thing. let's see if they fix it, I'm sure they wont go into practice and tell them to give up 500 yards passing everytime they can. :dis:

Not since 1998 have I worried because 1:13 was too much time left for the other team to score. Tepper did not get the job done then and I do not believe he can get the job done now unless he changes his scheme. Who is our Drop Linebacker? I for one remember the nineties. It felt something like this.

It was not too much time. They didn't score. Remember?

Hey, at least Colt David made all of his extra points so ASU couldn't kick a game tying field goal. :thumb:
