He was an ultra liberal Bush hater who got into these venom filled tirades against anyone who dared to support the President. During one of his rants, he mentioned that he was disabled and unable to work (and I guess Bush wasn't doing enough for him). Anyway, several months later, he mentioned that he had an afternoon tee time and was going out to play a round of golf. He was called on it and told that "If you can play golf, you can work". Never heard from him again.
The comedian Gallagher had a bit about doing stupid things while you were driving. If everyone had a 'stupid' dart and you saw someone who did something stupid, then you could shoot their car with a 'stupid ' dart. Then if a cop saw you with 3 stupid darts on your car he would pull you over a give you a ticket for being stupid. (reasoning being if 3 people said you were stupid, then it must be true) Maybe we could have something similar, no banning but if more than 3 people gave you a stupid point, you would get a 'stupid poster' label underneath your name. Kind of like 'contributor' . How shameful that would be, no one would ever take you seriously again. When people read your post they would think, oh he's just stupid.
Isn't that what the "reputation" feature is? If someone puts up a post, then others can add or subtract from their reputation. If you have a red square, that pretty much means that you pissed people off. I think that you just earned YOUR first stupid dart. Just kidding, just kidding...
I think we should just go by ancient rulings. Let's just get some rocks and go stone the stupid ###### Personally, I'm installing locks on my cave.
