Can LSU claim a forfeit? Whats the rule on this? If both teams dont come to an agreement on a contract game?

not sure but asu will not cancel. I would assume that if they cancel and don't give a make up date then it is a forfeit.

they will make the trip..... This game is more important to them. This game is how they will measure the ASU program. THey know USC is going to beat them down. But how do they fair Out of conf agianst a highly ranked LSU team on the road...

    Just my thoughts...

    just win tigers

They have no reason to cancel. It's our problem, not theirs. Why is this even an issue?

I can just see it now.

LSU win the 2006 Rose bowl and the BCS national Championship by beating USC. However the Trojans have been named co-champions because one of LSU's wins came by forfeit due to Arizona State canceling their game scheduled for Sept 10th in the wake of hurrican Katrina.

They are the ones complaining because: no hotel rooms, Baton Rouge is apparently a disaster area, and they feel that we should just go play in their stadium instead...

Tough chit for them. I say "get your Sun Devil arses here or forfeit the damn game"....

I'm tired of all the "should we/ shouldn't we" talk...I'm just reading for some freak'n football! Worrying over everything doesn't get New Orleans repaired any sooner.
