1. Do youse guys think we did enough to avoid a 4 seed? I'd like to think a 14-2 regular season SEC mark and the inability of Thomas to play the SECT goes into the committee's consideration and results in a 3 seed in Jacksonville and not a 4 seed somewhere else.
I would just rather not have to face a 1 seed until the elite 8.
Hell, I'd be happy just making the elite 8.
    Now I'm starting to bloviate....
Thoughts (on the seeding.... not my bloviating)
  2. I hope we will be a three but I think we will probably be a four.
  3. I think we'll be a 3 seed. It'll be either Jacksonville or Dallas. I prefer Dallas since it starts on Friday, giving us an extra day to get TT and Dmitch healthy.
  4. I'm guessing you'll be a three at worst... conference champ in a major conference holds a lot of weight.
The #1's don't appear to be as solid as past years, so being a 3 versus a 4 may not be as important as it is historically.
  5. the committee will always move teams around one seed up or down to make other things fit, so its tough to really tell. id guess 3 based on cof champ, 8-2 finish and 13 rpi.
  6. There i no doubt we will be a #3 seed.
  7. There's talk of tOSU getting a #1 seed if they beat the Hawkeyes today, which could effect things. Who knows? Hell, it's only 11 am here, tOSU could be under investigation again by the 3:30 tip-off!
  8. We will be a #3 seed but the first round game will be in Dayton Oh, putting us in the Atlanta Bracket. We will be in Dukes bracket also.
  9. I don't get why people are afraid of being in Duke's bracket this year. Duke looks very vulnerable this year for an early exit, considering the FSU, UNC and Miami games recently. All the probable #1 seeds this year seem to not be as intimidating as a normal year in fact.
  10. Wow..... Duke is the cream of the crop. Sheldon Williams would destroy Big Baby. Duke and UConn are the ones you do not want in your bracket. Period.
