Does Tennessee beat Florida? Does Kentucky beat Louisville? Does Arkansas beat Alabama? What are your thoughts?
My thoughts are that people should just watch and find out who will beat who, instead of speculating about it beforehand. After all, if we knew who would win, why would we bother playing the games. Even more, why would we bother watching them?
Tennessee vs. Florida The Vols are currently dead last among SEC teams in scoring defense and have struggled way too much against the pass- on the other hand, Tim Tebow has been almost perfect but the opponents were no SEC defenses either. Florida's defense has been pushed over the first two weeks- Did anyone else notice Troy St. hung 31 on the gators @ home. With all its speed and athleticism, Florida's defense has not been consistently generating pressure and getting into the backfield to now. If Ainge is getting time, he'll pick apart the green Florida defensive backfield. Big game for Fulmer- played them close last year but this would be his third straight loss to Florida. Definitely could happen but it's hard to pick against Florida in the swamp.....especially after watching Tennessee in the Cal game. Check ......Florida. Arkansas vs. Alabama Bama's SEC home opener under Saban?? SHEEZ, the spring game was bad enough, it's going to be nutts in that stadium. :hihi: A one-demensional Arky offense, against a Saban defense- I can’t wait to see Saban load the box and disguise his attack, keeping Arky off balance and challenging them to go deep with no go to guy......I like Bama here in a close one. Louisville vs. Kentucky Louisville is averaging almost 700 yards and 65 points a game, but people forget Kentucky finished the season 5-1 last year and Andre Woodson has a QB rating of 130 and has led this offensive attack, scoring at least 50 points in each of this year’s first two games. They should be able to keep up in a shootout. First team to break serve wins- I picked Kentucky and hope our SEC defense, @ home will be the difference in this one but mucho points put up.
Okay. Speculating about who will win is alot of the fun. Why not pick who you think will win, and spark threads like this one...?
Arkansas without Monk this game and no QB to begin with. I will go with Bama on this one. Unless McFadden can play QB, throw it really high, and catch it in open space. I still take Bama in a close one.:hihi:
Forgive me, but it's about 2 am and I've been up for awhile, so I'm even slower than my usual slow witted self. You're being sarcastic, right?
