Your first post made it sound like Bowe snatched the ball from the little guys hand and then darted away like a purse snatcher. Let me guess, did the ball boy fall down and start crying afterwards?
Bowe should be punished. The win was great last night and I think this year's team was one of the best three or four teams in the past 50 years of LSU football. But I wonder if Miles lacks control of this team. He is not a strong leader nor disciplinarian, and I think that is obvious. What will the character of this team look like in four years? Bowe stole an $80 ball. It was that act that precipitated the fight. Surely he should shoulder some blame and take some responsibility for his "thuggish" behavior. As for Miles, he was totally oblivious to what was going on as he was being interviewed. Maybe expecting him to know what 20 of his players are doing down the tunnel is unrealistic, but he should teach this team not to steal and certainly not to fight.
Whatever, Bowe is Bowe. He wasn't trying to start a brawl. I'd like to have one of those balls myself. Maybe Bowe will sell me his. I'll offer a lot more than $80 for it. As for Miles. How in the hell are you going to say "teach his team not to steal and certainly not to fight"? It was one guy, not the whole team. If any of our players are in trouble I would expect the whole "team" to come to their aid. Again, stop trying to spin this on Miles. Has there been any other problems this year? NO. Were our players acting like thugs on the sidelines? NO. Were they talking a lot of smack during the game? NO. As a matter of fact, I was impressed by the sportsmanship being displayed by our guys. Even though Miami came out talking smack, our guys played with class.
Salty, drop it...... Bowe was wrong for taking the ball from the kid and the "U" was wrong for entering LSU's tunnel.
No one here has all the facts yet, all we have is snippets from the media. Let's get all the facts before we gather a lynch mob. We are all just speculating at this point with limited information.
It's not the ball and Bowe comments that piss me off. It's how he is trying to spin it on Miles and saying our team is undisciplined.
