Today is the opposite of last week. We got every call vs the Lions. Today, we're getting nothing.

    b_leblanc That's just my game...

Defense gets no pressure up front, offense takes too much pressure up front.

I thought Gregg Williams was a defensive guru? I know the D was great at generating turnovers during the Super Bowl year; what gives this year? The secondary consistently gets burned. Out of Locker's 282 yards passing, 135 came on three completions. No excuse, especially so late in a game to give up big plays.

Hope the defense doesn't prevent this team from having a successful playoff run.

Sheesh -- way too close for comfort today. Glad to get the W.

Sports Illustrated, NFL.com experts rankings, and NFL.com fan rankings all have Saints currently ranked #2 in the entire NFL

Yet another great game by Brees: 36-47 (76.6%), 337 yds, 2 TDs, 0 INTs

Brees has now thrown TD pass in 40 straight games, closing in on HOF QB johnny Unitas' record of 47 consecutive game set over 50 years ago...#3 behind Brees is HOF QB Brett Favre with 36, and HOF QB Dan Marino with 30
