1. This may be a stupid question...but here it goes anyway.....

Is there any chance on earth that Saban would try and get Rohan away from the Patriots?

Do you think Saban would try to re-vamp the Dolphins organization by getting some of his old players back?

Or better yet, would there be backlash if he did attempt to add former LSU players to the Miami roster??

  2. Not trying to dis Rohan, but Spurrier tried that and failed . . . miserably. Pro football requires a slightly different set of skills due to the difference in offenses. There are lots of world-beating college QBs stinking up the NFl and quite a few average college QBs who are doing quite nicely.
  3. no way. that strategy worked real well for Spurrier and Petino in the NBA
  4. Rohan is practice squad material for the remainder of his career, unfortunately.
  5. practice squad material? sorry but Rohan's no Danny Whats-his-face. Rohan's a real winner, took his team to the NFL Europe title while setting just about every passer record he could, somebody should give him a chance to play and Saban might be the guy to do it. it's just tough to make any noise when you're stuck behind Tom Brady
  6. Rohan is a Miami native correct?
  7. Last night on Buddy D's Second Guess Show, Mike Detillier said don't be too surprised if Saban tries to trade for Rohan. I agree that Rohan can be successful in the NFL, he's just stuck behind Brady. His play in NFL Europe, I think, showcased what he can do. Buddy D also made a crack about Saban trading for Devery as well. Wouldn't surprise me...the Saints obviously have no clue what to do with him.
  8. there will be some QBs out there for the taking. San Diego needs to do something with the Rivers/Brees issue for one. Matt Mauck may be available....... :thumb:
  9. I say go after Davey....he could be the next Culpepper you never know....
  10. I know Nick and Bill are friends do you think he would trade Ro to team in there division. Not a chance.
