that's not the point. he knows so much about college football and is so worried about how he comes across instead of what he is actually saying, he thought we just had our great 2003-4 season so Saban may as well leave. exposed again.
i think a good question to ask him would be this.... if he cant stay at the top in the college game....then what makes him think that Saban can win championships in the NFL? i dont understand how Saban not winning another championship here translates into wins in the NFL?
Well, in his eyes, Saban's not the reason LSU won't win another one. It's because it's LSU. Last year when the Bears job was open he was saying Saban should leave because he won't always have that success at LSU. His reasoning was because LSU "doesn't recruit nationally," and that a team can't win consistantly if they are relying solely on Louisiana recruits. Guess that shows exactly how in-tune he is with LSU and college football.
They are reporting on WJBO that Saban is gone to the Dolphins.....PLEASE SOMEONE TELL ME THIS IS NOT TRUE!!!!

This morning...I am not believing anything until I see it on Sportscenter. THIS SUCKS!!! I have had enough of these rumors. GEAUX or STAY, but get it over with already.

Until Saban himself says it's so i wouldn't jump to conclusions. Just as the article said, he talked to the Bears last year. This job is probably more his style, BUT it doesn't mean he is going for it. A coach has to keep his options open. He probably doesn't know if he is going to take the job yet until he weighs out all the options. This isn't a thing you would want to decide over a lunch break. I know I'd have to have some time to think about such a career move. You never know he may just decide to stay.
