I have been posting here that Saban is going to Alabama as coach since this search began. While I could care less if he does, here is what my very good sources are telling me that would affect us. Stacy Searles is going to be his offensive line coach and he has offered Jimbo the OC position and it is his to turn down. The backup for this is Tom Clemments who played for Notre Dame. Harbison has been offered a position on his staff also. They are to meet on Tuesday and Wednesday and I am told that he will be announced as the head coach of Alabama on Friday.
I don't care. I'm tired of hearing this crap and can't wait for it to end. If Saban goes he will be a failure in the NFL and maybe they would both deserve each other. I can't wait til Friday for this to end.
   That's great SD. Just ignore the threads if it's bugging you. As a Dolphins fan, I don't want him to leave. But at the same time I can't get too worked up about it either way. And no, I don't particularly care who ends up at Bama.
I see your point from a Dolphin perspective. The funny thing is that I was a Dolphin fan for years until the Broncos made the superbowl and Dan Marino retiring. My favorite team of all time were the 82 Dolphins? I think that was the team that lost 55-21 to the 49'ers Dans rookie year. I also like watching David Woodley the year before. Still love Marino, Duper and Clayton! The Broncos are now my #1 team and the Dolphins are my #2 team now. I hope Saban stays also but maybe they should hire Mike Shula if Saban leaves? Would love to see Don Shula back but I'm guessing he's too old? Edit: How can you ignore this stuff when its thread after thread?
Glen Mason just got fired at Minnesota. Now he would change things around at Alabama... well, kinda... instead of having no offense, he would make it where they had no defense.
